Shamba to Plate was born from a clear and ambitious vision: To unlock the immense potential of Tanzania's beef industry. Our founder, Mr Millan Olotu, a seasoned entrepreneur with over 30 years of business experience across multiple ventures, identified a critical gap in the market.

Despite Tanzania having one of Africa's largest cattle herds, less than 5% of its beef has been processed in modern, hygienic facilities. Recognizing this, we set out to create a reliable, premium, and traceable source of beef for a growing nation.

To put this vision into action, we secured 100 acres of prime farmland in Dodoma, the strategic heart of Tanzania, and made substantial capital investments in constructing cutting-edge facilities. Today, Shamba to Plate stands as a testament to innovation, quality, and commitment—delivering premium beef from our farm directly to your plate.
